Mr. Lindsey Cacho
An accomplished criminal investigator and commander-in-chief, Lindsey Cacho's breadth of knowledge and experience spans over 45 years in operational management, business development and financial data analytics. Mr. Cacho holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the Cayman Islands Law School and was admitted to the Cayman Islands Bar in 2004.
Originally from Belize, he first began his career in 1969 as a police officer of the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service. He rose through the ranks to Chief Superintendent of the Criminal Investigation Department, where he served for 17 years. He later joined the Attorney's General Chambers in 2003 to pursue his articles of clerkship and was subsequently appointed Crown Counsel. While there, he practiced in areas such as civil litigation and juvenile criminal prosecution. Following this, he served as Director of the Financial Reporting Authority, primarily responsible for the management and coordination of suspicious activity reports made by financial services providers.
Currently, Mr. Cacho takes pride in managing his own law firm, providing legal services in a wide range of civil matters.
